Police investigating TTPS vehicle stuck in Cedros waters

The Professional Standard's Bureau (PSB) of the Police Service is currently investigating how a marked police vehicle was swept away by waters at the beach in Cedros on Saturday.

This was confirmed by head of Corporate Communications of the TTPS, Ellen Lewis on Monday morning.

A daily newspaper reported that two police officers attached to the Cedros Police Station went to the beach following information that drugs were seen in the area.

They reportedly went to the shore and got stuck in the sand.

Moments later a wave pulled the jeep into the ocean.

A wrecking service was contacted and the vehicle was towed to the Cedros Police Station.
